Celebrating Tradition and New Beginnings: Tết 2025 in Memphis
Toyota of Hernando was proud to be part of the Tết (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) celebration in Memphis in late January 2025, a meaningful cultural event centered around family, tradition, and new beginnings.
Tết is one of the most important holidays in Vietnamese culture, marking the arrival of the Lunar New Year and the start of a new cycle. Celebrations traditionally focus on renewal, good fortune, and spending time with loved ones—and that spirit was felt throughout the entire event.
Held in Memphis, the Tết Festival brought the community together for a full day of cultural experiences. Guests enjoyed lion and dragon dances, traditional and modern performances, live music, martial arts demonstrations, and cultural fashion showcases like the Áo Dài.
The event also featured authentic Vietnamese food, games, and family-friendly activities, creating an atmosphere that was both festive and welcoming for all ages. It was a great opportunity for many in the Mid-South to experience the richness of Vietnamese culture firsthand.
What made the day truly special was the sense of community. Events like Tết go beyond celebration—they create connection, promote cultural understanding, and bring people together in a meaningful way.
At Toyota of Hernando, we’re always grateful to be part of events that celebrate diversity and strengthen our community. Tết 2025 was a powerful reminder of how traditions can unite us and how important it is to support and celebrate cultures across the Mid-South.
We’re honored to have been part of such a vibrant and meaningful celebration.
